JACKSON ADDS HI-TECH CUSTOMER SERVICE VEHICLE TO FLEET
30th October 2007
A BUILDERS’ merchant has invested in a hi-tech new vehicle to service hire equipment customers all over the country.
The new vehicle is the latest addition to Jackson Building Centre’s vehicle fleet and is being used as a mobile engineer service for the company’s plant and access hire division. The van, which was purchased from Ford & Slater’s Lincoln Dealership, has been tailor made and is fully fitted out inside with a complete repair workshop.
Jackson’s group hire manager Mark Shepherd commented: “The demand for plant and access hire equipment is growing all the time. The new vehicle is a very welcome addition to Jackson’s existing fleet. It will enable us to provide a one-stop-shop for all our customers as we can now offer them a complete after sales service package.”
The new vehicle purchase is part of £1million investment by the company to expand its plant and access hire division, which has also included the purchase of new machinery.
The Lincoln-based builders’ merchant has 24 outlets throughout the East Midlands and Yorkshire and is a hire specialist. Experienced staff are on hand to provide full training and safety advice, and demonstrations of any equipment can be arranged. Jackson Hire also operates a full maintenance and repair service for added convenience.
