A NEW-LOOK showroom has just been completed at a builders’ merchant branch and the project already looks set to increase sales.
Jackson Building Centres carried out the refurbishment at its Horncastle branch at Station Yard, Langton Hill, and the number of customer inquiries about bathroom and kitchen products has soared while the new showroom has been taking shape.
Branch manager Rik Pepper is delighted with the refurbishment and said he expected it to lead to a substantial rise in sales. “We inherited the original showroom which was poorly laid out and needed improving,” he explained. “It has now been redesigned to display the products very professionally. It looks absolutely fantastic and we have been inundated with inquiries.”
The showroom features a range of individual bathroom and kitchen displays with suites, showers, units and work surfaces from leading manufacturers. It also includes a new fireplace section. Different brands and high specification products have been introduced to give customers a wider choice and a selection of accessories is on show to complement the room settings.
“It really helps if customers can see the products and accessories for themselves without having to rely on brochures so much and we have been able to increase the product range without taking up any more space in the rest of the branch,” said Rik. “Our showroom manager Nigel Bell has put in a lot of work with our group showroom manager to get it looking this good but it has been well worth the effort,” he added.
Lincoln-based Jackson’s is continuing to expand throughout the East Midlands and South Yorkshire regions. This latest project is part of an ongoing programme of investment in its 20 branches to provide a one-stop shop with enhanced facilities for trade and retail customers.
In addition to the showroom, the Horncastle branch stocks a wide range of items for a host of building projects including plumbing and heating supplies, building materials, timber, landscaping, ironmongery and decorating products.
