![]() |
IF YOU want to live in the home of your dreams then it’s worth taking advice from the experts. And you’ll be able to do just that by paying a visit to the Northern Homebuilding and Renovating Show.
Around 120 exhibitors specialising in every aspect of home building are expected to attend the three-day show at the Harrogate Exhibition Centre. Both local suppliers and national companies will be on hand to offer guidance on a host of projects ranging from designing your dream property to creating an energy efficient home.
Lincoln-based Jackson Building Centres will be among the exhibitors aiming to help you transform your current property or build a new one from start to finish. It will also have an eye-catching exhibit on show in the shape of a cleverly constructed dolls house to illustrate each aspect of the building process from ground level to roofing.
Jackson’s, which has branches throughout the East Midlands, can supply a wealth of advice as well as all the materials needed to carry out a self-build or renovation project. Trained staff will be available on stand 127 to advise both trade and retail visitors on a host of building projects.
The company’s marketing manager Colin Bartleet said: “Major building projects can seem daunting but with the right advice and preparation, you’ll be surprised at what can be achieved. A growing number of people are choosing to renovate or build their own homes and builders merchants are in an ideal position to offer the expertise needed to carry out the job.”
The show takes place between November 12 and 14 and free tickets are available from all Jackson’s branches.
